Sodium Cysteamine and Curl Fingering
About three months ago, the Grandha presented an unexpected novelty to the national cosmetics market and, during this week, the students of Papa Beauty performed the technique of fingering for curls with Sodium Cysteamine, the active ingredient that represents the first step forward in the process of modernizing traditional straightening bases in the cosmetics market worldwide.
A Sodium Cysteamine It is the first active ingredient that changes the shape and texture of hair – curls or straight –, with performance hybrid – internal and external –, through the processes of oxidation-reduction and lanthionization. For acting in texture and shape transformation with polymeric associations, the Sodium Cysteamine both stimulates better curl formation and straightening processes.
Case Study – Sodium Cysteamine
1) The hair was divided into quadrants and received the application of Keraflex Fluid Protein, for better protection of the curls during the process.

2) After a strand test, Sodium Cysteamine was first applied to the roots.

3) There was a pause – 20 minutes – for expansion of the strands and subsequent absorption of the product.

4) At this time, the manual work of fingering e gloving, to stimulate the change in the level of waviness and formation of curls.

5) Soon after, having already treated the root – which, in this case, offered greater resistance –, the product was applied to the length and ends of the hair. This time, both the amount of product applied and the exposure time were shorter, to follow the definition of the roots.

6) The hair was rinsed thoroughly with warm water and then washed twice with Neutralizing Shampoo to carry out the process. physical neutralization of the curls. Afterwards, there was a break of about 10 minutes..

7) Excess water was removed before applying the Complex Balm Neutralizer, achieving chemical neutralization of the fingering process with Sodium Cysteamine. Then there was a 20 minute break.

8) After the 20-minute pause, the curls were rinsed and excess moisture was once again removed. Using movements that favored the formation of curls, the following were applied: Keraflex Fluid Protein, Vector Force Conditioner and Out Frizz Oil Repair. There was no rinsing.

9) The finishing was done with a dryer equipped with a diffuser, in low speed and high temperature, with possible cold air jets. It was preferred to carry out this process with the hair thrown forward, to better accommodate the roots and optimize the volume gain of the final result.
