During this week, I received super nice comments from Danda Oliveira, on Facebook, about his experience with Hair Detox. She also sent me pictures of the application, which you did with your hairdresser, and the final result.

We were all very happy to see that she had I was really happy with the result of your curls, and so I asked her if I could write about it, to which she agreed at first. So let's talk about Danda's results:

Hair Detoxification

For those who don't know the subject very well, Hair Detox, it is worth highlighting some points:

• The process that restores curls to those who have undergone progressive brushing is called Detoxification because the product's main active ingredient acts as formaldehyde displacer;
• This asset is called AMP thioglycolate, an asset developed and patented by us at Grandha;

The first thing to be done was the strand test, because each hair has a chemical history, and, first of all, With the strand test it is easy to know what result will be presented across the entire hair.

How to make curls

A curl optimization begins with the hair wash. Immediately after, the asset is applied AMP thioglycolate and the locks are rolled up.

After the product has taken effect, the hair is rinsed and dried using a diffuser, without taking off the curlers. Once dry, the curls receive the application of neutralizing shampoo and rest for 15 minutes. After that, the hair is unrolled and the neutralizing shampoo is applied once again (img.3) -, resting for another 5 minutes.

The threads are washed with the Curl & Wave shampoo, for curly hair, always stimulating the formation of curls with your fingers.

We can see that Danda's hairdresser used a thermal cap (img.2) – in the application. We we do not recommend this, because the thermal cap heats the hair and speeds up the process. So, what happened in the strand test at a given time, can happen faster inside the cap.But as you can see, this does not necessarily change the result. It's just a matter of awareness, control and skill of the professional involved.

Home maintenance

The last photo of Danda – (img.4) – shows her curls after 3 days of applying the Detox. To maintain this salon result, it is important to always wash your hair with the line Curl & Wave Home Care, for curly hair.

But the washes they don't need to be daily, of course. You can maintain the washing frequency you are already used to, but remember to always moisten the strands with water when modeling them. We also recommend using the Curl & Wave Leave-in as a daily leave-in.
