The search for knowledge by professionals – and customers for effective treatment – It is something constant and, every day, various dysfunctions affect the hair and scalp. The reasons are numerous: emotional imbalance, daily stress, use of acidic and corrosive chemicals, physical trauma and genetic influence.

In this article, I will highlight mechanisms that are fundamental for the good performance of the capillary system: combating free radicals (antioxidant) and stimulation of the growth cycle (energizing) through the synergistic, or individualized, use of both green tea (green tea), how much black tea (black tea).

Teas are important tools in modern hair therapy.

Green Tea and Energization for Growth

Botanical extracts have beneficial effects on the biological dynamics of human beings. This has already been supported by several scientific journals. Green tea extract contains epigallocatechin-3-gallateantioxidant (EGCG), which has the ability to stimulate hair growth. It also contains catechins that help by suppressing DHT or dihydrotestosterone, which is usually responsible for hair loss.

Compounds found in green tea extract, such as carotenoids, tachopherols, zinc, ascorbic acid, selenium and manganese help prevent hair loss and stimulate hair growth. Its anti-inflammatory properties increase hair growth and also stimulate the keratinocytes of the dermal papilla, through the activation of KGF – keratinocyte growth factor –, which in turn improves hair growth and thickness.

Black Tea and Antioxidants

The antioxidant properties of black tea are manifested by its ability to inhibit the generation and scavenge free radicals, as well as chelate transition metal ions. Black tea, as well as individual theaflavins, can influence the activation of transcription factors such as NFκB or AP-1.

Due to the fermentation process, black tea contains a significant percentage of caffeine, which aids in biological metabolism and modulates an enzyme called phosphodiesterase. This means that its action increases inflammatory levels of 5-alpha-reductase and promotes more effective control of hair loss.

We cannot forget that in the composition of the Teas of the Grandha, we have the presence of Polluout Technology, a biopolymer that provides greater protection for hair and scalp against pollutants, while maintaining even more effective antioxidant effects.

Therefore, it is extremely important to use teas, as both have antioxidant effects. And since we are constantly exposed to the action of free radicals, the adjustment provided by the use of green tea and black tea improves hair biology, thus maintaining a healthy scalp and hair.
