Alopecia Areata: Case Study

Today, I'm going to share a beautiful story with you! A few months ago, a client came to me because of a serious case of alopecia areata. She had already consulted several professionals who, unfortunately, were unable to help her.

As I talked to her, I learned that she had recently been cured of cancer, but her hair had started falling out before it had started. We continued to deepen this emotional connection and she told me that a year before her hair fell out, she had been robbed and, within a short space of time, tragically lost her 19-year-old son.

When I did the trichoscopy, I saw that there were inflammation points and signs of ostia. In the emotional analysis, I noticed a lot of agitation. I created a protocol with the essential oils, vegetables, clays and an application of aromatherapy to balance the traumas experienced. It is very important to emphasize that she made daily use of cosmeceutical products at home.. Correct maintenance is essential for the effectiveness of hair therapy and the success of the treatment.

A new hope

Coming from a highly traumatic situation, including the irreparable loss of a child, this client had a very difficult emotional case. She started wearing a wig and the doctors told her that she would never be able to live without the hair prosthesis.

But after 6 months of treatment, she left the prosthesis behind. During the first 7 months, treatment at the clinic was weekly. After this period, it became biweekly. Throughout the entire process, she was quite disciplined with housekeeping and continues to use cosmeceutical products today. Today she lives a wig-free life and has managed to regain her self-esteem.
